Lee-Eun Soo to defend Middleweight crown against Minowaman at ROAD FC 011

A Middleweight Championship match-up between reigning champion Lee-Eun Soo and former PRIDE veteran Minowaman has been slated for ROAD Fighting Championship’s first event of 2013.

ROAD FC 011 is set to take place on April 13th, at the Olympic Hall situated in Seoul, South Korea.

A former Spirit MC Heavyweight Champion, Lee-Eun Soo is a decorated professional South Korean Mixed Martial Artist who has been competing since 2003. The 30-year-old Korean Top Team native is 2-2 under the ROAD FC banner, and was last seen at ROAD FC 010, where he captured the Middleweight strap after defeating Shungo Oyama via KO  in Busan.

His opponent, Minowaman, is a veteran of over 95 professional MMA bouts and is considered a legend in Japanese Mixed Martial Arts. A former DREAM Super Hulk Tournament winner, Minowaman is 3-2 is his past 5 outings, facing the likes of Alexander Shlemenko and Kendall Grove. He is currently riding on a 2-fight win streak.

As reported earlier, the conclusion of the ROAD FC’s Lightweight Championship tournament has also been added to the fight card, featuring finalists Nam Yui Chul  and Kume Takasuke.
