Rodrigues and Phetjeeja Ready to Deliver the Biggest Women's Fight of 2026

The wait is over. Reigning ONE Women's Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues defends her crown against the division's kickboxing queen, Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom, in the main event of The Inner Circle 19.
Rodrigues and Phetjeeja will finally meet in the center of the ring at The Inner Circle 19, which streams exclusively on live.onefc.com this Friday, June 19.
The two were originally booked to collide in March, but injuries to both fighters forced the bout to be postponed. Rodrigues battled inflammation in both legs that left her unable to run, kick, or train through impact for over a month. Meanwhile, Phetjeeja dealt with her own physical setbacks.
Both have since fully recovered and are ready to deliver on the promise of the biggest women's fight in ONE Championship this year.
Rodrigues Opens Up on the Injury That Postponed Their March Clash
The Brazilian mom-champ did not hide the severity of what kept her out of the March bout. Rodrigues revealed the extent of the physical issue that disrupted her preparation and explained the recovery process that has brought her back to full fitness ahead of June 19.
"I ended up having inflammation in both of my legs, which was preventing me from running, kicking, or doing anything that created impact. I had to take about a month and a half off, along with medication and physical therapy, to recover. I believe it was caused by training itself," Rodrigues explained.
The 28-year-old, who trains at Phuket Fight Club, carries a 35-7 career record into the fight and has not lost a single match inside the atomweight Muay Thai division since claiming the belt.
A clean bill of health heading into June 19 means the version of Rodrigues that Phetjeeja faces will be the one that has dismantled every challenger the division has produced across a title reign that spans several years.
Phetjeeja Says the Title Fight Feels Like a Blockbuster Matchup
Phetjeeja has not needed any additional motivation to pursue this title shot, but the magnitude of what June 19 represents has not been lost on her. The Thai sensation, who used to fight boys, acknowledged the rarity of a women's matchup commanding this level of global attention and framed it as a moment the sport deserves.
"Now that we finally get to fight for the title, it really feels like a blockbuster matchup. Usually, people focus on the men's fights, but it's rare to have a women's matchup that everyone is this desperate to see. I think it's going to be an incredible fight to watch," Phetjeeja said.
The 24-year-old, who competes out of Team Mehdi Zatout, has won five of her eight ONE Championship bouts via finish and arrived at this title shot by defeating Janet Todd, Kana Morimoto, and Martyna Dominczak along the way.
Phetjeeja’s 210-6 career record and existing ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Championship make her the most decorated challenger Rodrigues has faced since claiming her crown.
Rodrigues Has Sharpened Her Boxing to Counter Phetjeeja

Rodrigues has identified exactly where Phetjeeja is most dangerous and spent her preparation addressing it directly. The Brazilian has not entered this title defense with a passive approach to the threat across from her.
"We know she is very good at boxing. I've been training boxing for quite some time as well, and I've been improving and gaining a lot of confidence in my hands," she declared.
Rodrigues arrives undefeated in the atomweight Muay Thai division with a 5-1 ONE record, looking to make her fifth successful title defense. Phetjeeja carries a perfect 8-0 ONE mark and a 210-6 career record into her shot at a second world title. The technical battle between two of the pound-for-pound finest female strikers in the world is set to be decided by the finest of margins on June 19.
