Sergei Pavlovich will have "many surprises" for Alex Pereira, once the octagon door shuts at UFC 335.

Sergei Pavlovich has a message for his next opponent, former two-division UFC champion Alex Pereira.  Pavlovich, who’s riding a three-fight win streak, will lock horns with Pereira in the co-main event of UFC 335 on Dec. 12, live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Russian fighter has sent most of his opponents to the shadow realm in the first round, and come UFC 335, he will look to hand Pereira the same fate.

Sergei Pavlovich's Cryptic Message For Alex Pereira

A few hours earlier, the heavyweight knockout artist took to X to share a clip of himself hitting the pads and captioned it:

“There will be many surprises”

Pereira moved up to heavyweight earlier this year after vacating his light heavyweight throne. On his 265-pound debut, he locked horns with Ciryl Gane at the White House and was knocked out in Round 2.

After the Gane loss, some already believe that "Poatan" is not a natural heavyweight and should move back down to light heavyweight. However, Pereira, who signed a new UFC contract earlier this year, appears committed to staying in his new weight class until he retires and is looking for tougher challenges.

The 39-year-old also possesses tremendous knockout power, and his vicious left hook can put anyone to sleep. However, it remains to be seen how effective his power will be against heavyweights, especially a dangerous knockout artist like Sergei Pavlovich.

Former UFC Double Champion Says Alex Pereira "Shouldn't Be" in Heavyweight Division

Daniel Cormier believes Alex Pereira should fight at 205 pounds, and that’s the "sweet spot" for "Poatan" to "max out his power." In a recent video, "DC" lauded "Poatan" while offering his two cents on why Pereira should perhaps consider moving down. He said:

"He hits so hard. He's got so much power. Obviously, he has amazing technique. He’s a kickboxing world champion. He has all the skills and ability to be as good as he wants in any weight class he wants. But there are weight classes for a reason, and I think heavyweight is like right at that limit of probably where he shouldn't be."
