Shanelle Dyer picked up another big win at UFC Sacramento. With two finishes in two fights, we look at what's next for Dyer.

Shanelle Dyer was back in action this Saturday night and picked up yet another big win. Taking on the experienced Elise Reed, Dyer set the tone from the first exchange. She showed that she had superior boxing, crisper strikes and the desire to get one over on her adversary.

Naturally, after two fights and two finishes, both of which have come in impressive fashion, fans are asking where the ceiling is for Dyer and what's next.

139-59. That was the deficit between the strikes landed by Dyer and Reed. The skills shown by the Brit were on show from the first bell as she landed heavy strikes and punished Reed to the legs, body and head.

The end came in the third round as Dyer backed Reed up against the fence and carrelled her there for the final sequence. A series of brutal strikes had Reed covering up but still receiving a lot of damage, forcing the referee to step in and stop things.

Next Fight

At 8-1, Dyer is still fairly inexperienced in the game. She's just 25 years old and has a lot of learning to do. With that being said, she's a hot prospect in the sport and needs to be matched correctly in order to continue her rise up the ranks.

Loma Lookboonmee would be an extremely fun fight for Dyer next. The Thai striker is 7-4 in the UFC and, although she's lost two on the bounce, she could still be an interesting test for Dyer.

An all-British affair between Dyer and Shauna Bannon could also be fun, however, despite being younger and having fewer UFC fights, Dyer would likely be a heavy favourite in that one and wouldn't push Dyer any closer to a rankings spot.

The most logical fight would be matching Dyer with Alice Ardelean. The latter lost her first two UFC outings, but is enjoying a three-fight winning run, including an interesting submission victory last time out. She recorded a calf slicer victory over Polyana Viana, earning her a performance of the night. At 34, Ardelean doesn't have much of a future in the sport; however, she does have a well-rounded game that could ask Dyer a few questions.
