King Green is not slowing down anytime soon, as just a day after his loss at UFC 332, the veteran is already back in training.

Losing a fight by first-round TKO is enough to make most fighters retreat to a dark room for a few weeks to heal up, but King Green isn't most fighters. Just 24 hours after taking a tough loss to Esteban Ribovics at UFC 332, the fan-favorite lightweight veteran proved why his work ethic is the stuff of MMA legend by heading right back into the gym, taking zero days off.

The bout at UFC 332 featured plenty of fireworks early, with Ribovics finding his range and eventually dropping Green three times in the opening frame before referee Herb Dean stepped in at 4:08 of Round 1. While Green voiced his frustration over what he felt was a premature stoppage, he did not let the disappointment keep him down for long. Video footage surfaced online showing the 40-year-old striking standout back inside the ring, lacing up gloves and working through pad sessions as if a grueling fight night had never happened.

Hands Down, Head Up

What made the quick return to training even more classic Green was his signature attitude on display. True to his long-standing style, Green was still keeping his hands down and relying on shoulder rolls and slick movement during drills, refusing to change the unique defense that brought him success throughout his 45-plus professional fights.

Ribovics certainly made a statement with his violent TKO victory, adding another highlight finish to his growing resume and calling out his next potential targets in post-fight interviews. Yet Green's immediate return to the grind stole plenty of headlines of its own among fight fans.

With over two decades of professional competition under his belt, Green continues to operate at a pace that puts younger prospects to shame. While official UFC stats record another setback on his resume, his willingness to dust himself off and get right back to work is commendable.
