Josh Hokit replies to Bruce Buffer's opinions about him , talks about having actual criminals in the roster

Josh Hokit is not kneeling to the “disrespectful” allegations from Bruce Buffer.

Josh Hokit claps back at Bruce Buffer’s “show some class” argument

Veteran Octagon announcer Bruce Buffer didn’t have many positive words to say about Josh Hokit. During his appearance in N3on’s live stream, the “Voice of Octagon” spoke his mind.

“He can fight, but I don’t like what he talks about,”. He continued, “It’s like, show some class; that is just the way I am. The things he said at the White House, I am sorry, but I did not appreciate that”.

These opinions are heavily based on Hokit’s statements during UFC Freedom 250. During his post-fight interview, the fighter exclaimed, “Now listen, Alex Pereira, I’m going to chama on your mama, and lastly, Michelle Obama is a man! Am I right, America,”.

However, the heavyweight doesn’t appreciate the criticism. He quickly took to social media to fire back.

“I talk trash in the Octagon, but guys on this roster have actual criminal records and rape charges. I have no criminal record, yet I'm not classy enough?” He replied via X.

He then refuted Bruce’s “role model”  argument.

“You realize we are in the gladiator business, right? Should men who try to kill other men, really be your role model? lol”

Hokit has his next fight scheduled in November, against Ciryl Gane. He has been going back and forth with Alex Pereira on social media over this too.

Josh Hokit writes poem addressing Alex Pereira

Josh Hokit appears to be in a mood for trash-talk poetry as UFC 334 comes closer. The American will be challenging the reigning champion, Ciryl Gane, for the Belt.

Alex Pereira is one fighter who has very loudly opposed this match-up on several occasions. He has claimed that the Ciryl Gane vs. Josh Hokit has been pushed to the fans using "influencers" such as Daniel Cormier.

"It was all kind of manipulated", he stated.

This comment definitely hit a nerve for Hokit. He took to X to write a whole poem addressing Pereira.

As of now, there are no visible signs of a Pereira vs. Hokit matchup on the horizon. However, this rivalry is definitely keeping the fans hoping for one.
