UFC Freedom 250 - Sean O’Malley vs Aiemann Zahabi Betting Odds

We break down some betting tips and picks ahead of Sean O'Malley vs Aiemann Zahabi at UFC Freedom 250.
One of the more interesting fights on UFC Freedom 250 features a bantamweight clash between the former champion, Sean O’Malley and the in-form Aiemann Zahabi.

O’Malley will be looking to put two wins together for the first time since 2023/2024, whereas the Canadian will be hoping to extend his winning run to eight straight. Last time out, O’Malley outpointed Song Yadong in his pursuit of another title shot, whereas Zahabi narrowly outpointed Marlon Vera.
This one is certainly a clash of personalities, and the fight itself should provide an interesting clash of styles.
Let’s take a look at Sean O’Malley vs Aiemann Zahabi at UFC Freedom 250, the betting odds and some tips!
UFC Freedom 250 - Sean O’Malley vs Aiemann Zahabi Betting Odds
Sean O’Malley to win via TKO/KO (+230)
Sean O’Malley burst onto the scene through the Contender Series with vicious power, one-punch knockouts and a trash-talking persona that we hadn’t seen since McGregor. The pin-haired O’Malley has finished six UFC fights during his career via TKO/KO, including his impressive win over Aljamain Sterling to capture the belt.
It’s worth noting that his power hasn’t quite transferred up when the quality of opposition has increased; however, Zahabi is certainly a level below the elite.
If O’Malley can use his superior speed, power and footwork, he can make Zahabi pay, and as the Canadian has been knocked down in each of his last two fights, O’Malley could be the one to finish things.
Aiemann Zahabi to win via decision (+540)
As good as Zahabi has looked on his most recent run of results heading into UFC Freedom 250, only two of his eight UFC wins have come via finish. Zahabi is a technician, rather than a ruthless finisher, and it shows in his style.

He’s risk-averse and calculated, and this leads to him going to a decision more often than not. That said, his style is certainly effective. He’s outpointed Javid Basharat, becoming the first man to beat him, outpointed Pedro Munhoz, went the distance with Jose Aldo and won, and last time out edged past Marlon Vera.
He’s full of confidence, but don’t expect that confidence to show itself in the form of a finish; if he’s to win, it’ll be via decision.
O’Malley wins via Decision (+110)
As we previously mentioned, O’Malley burst onto the scene and made a name for himself as a result of his brutal power at 135lbs. When he’s taken the step up in competition, his power hasn’t carried beyond the lower levels.
Although he finished Sterling when he won the belt, he wasn’t able to get Marlon Vera out of there, despite dominating for five full rounds. He landed 232 total strikes, a brutal knee and Vera kept on coming. He went the distance with Merab Dvalishvili when he lost the belt before being finished in the rematch.

Last time out, he went the distance with Song Yadong. He’s finished just a single fight since 2021, that trend may continue at UFC Freedom 250 on The White House lawn.
