Titan FC 73 Results

Florida-based Titan FC returns tonight with a card colloquially called “Season’s Beatings”, celebrating the holiday season with the promotion’s final card of the year live from Miami, Florida. The 11-fight card features two title fights and some of the promotion’s top prospects.

At the top of the card, welterweight champion “The Postman” Dilano Taylor defends his title against LFA veteran “Bad Intentions” Marcus Edwards. The 24-year-old Jamaican Taylor has rattled off five wins in a row since his first professional loss to now-Bellator prospect Roman Faraldo, with four of those coming under the Titan FC banner. His most recent bout at Titan FC 69 saw him win the belt over Carlos Matos by unanimous decision. Edwards, meanwhile, has not fought since August 2017, when he scored a unanimous decision victory to bring his record to 13-5 overall.

Someone will experience their first professional loss in the co-main event, while the other will go home with the bantamweight title. Venezuela’s “The Promise” Alberto Montes has won five fights in a row to start his career, including an anaconda choke submission in his last fight at Titan FC 67. The MMA Masters product will face 35-year-old “American Thoroughbred” Ira Lukowsky, who scored a first-round TKO in his last fight at LFA 114 to pick up his second professional win in as many fights. Lukowsky made his professional debut in February 2020, nearly seven years after his last amateur fight.

At flyweight, former flyweight champion and Combate Global veteran Wascar Cruz returns to action against fast-rising prospect Roy Echevarria. The Dominican Republic’s “La Avispa” Cruz has lost two of his last three, but will look to get back on track against the undefeated Venezuelan Echevarria, who has finished five of his six bouts to start his professional career, all with Titan FC.

Other fighters to watch out for are former Glory kickboxer Asa Ten Pow, former UFC signee Dean Barry, 19-year-old phenom Evelyn Martins, NCAA wrestling tournament qualifier Yoanse Mejias, and a matchup between four-fight prospects Devon Dixon and Charlie Decca.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with Titan FC 73 results, with the preliminary card starting at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT on Titan FC’s Facebook page, followed by the main card at 8pm ET/5pm PT on UFC Fight Pass.
