XMMA 2 Results

After a successful debut event, XMMA returns with its sophomore outing: XMMA 2. The event is live from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. Like last time, this card features a balance of recognizable names and up-and-coming prospects.

The main event pits TUF 6 cast member and longtime UFC veteran Ben Saunders against TUF 13 and 25 cast member and UFC and PFL veteran Ramsey Nijem. Both fighters are known finishers with a well-balanced skillset that should lead to a competitive match wherever the fight goes.

The XMMA 2 co-main event features two more UFC veterans, as a returning Kyle Bochniak, who most recently picked up a victory at XMMA’s last event, faces off against Marcus Brimage, who has not fought in over five years. Brimage and Bochniak both have gone to the judges’ scorecards for a lot of their fights, but expect this fight to be a barnburner mostly taking place on the feet.

Former Bellator lightweight champion “Ill” Will Brooks returns to action for the first time in over two years as he faces a veteran of over 55 fights in “Super” Steven Siler. Regional scene fan favorite Chris Curtis returns to XMMA on a four-fight winning streak to battle former UFC welterweight Kenny Robertson. At bantamweight, UFC veteran Cody Gibson returns for the first time since 2018 when he takes on Brave CF veteran and Tristar Gym product Louie Sanoudakis.

One fight to watch out for on the preliminary card is a bantamweight fight between “Hollywood” John Sweeney and “The One-Eyed Dragon” Dre Miley. Both fighters come into this matchup with bad blood, but are both talented prospects as well.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with XMMA 2 results, with the preliminary card starting at 7pm ET/4pm PT followed by the main card at 9pm ET/6pm PT on Fight Network and XMMA’s YouTube page.
