KSW continues to put on world-class shows with another amazing card stacked for 2021. On Saturday, April 24, 2021, KSW 60 will take place in Poland. The event can be seen worldwide either on KSWtv or on the KSW app. Two championship titles will be on the line as heavyweight champion Phil de Fries will defend his title for a second time against the light heavyweight champion, Tomasz Narkun. In the night’s co-main event, newly crowned lightweight champion Marian Ziolkowski will make his first title defense of his reign against Maciej Kazieczko.

KSW 60 Preview

Main Event Championship Bout

In a rematch of, “champion vs champion” between KSW divisional kings, Phil de Fries (19-6) will hope for a similar outcome to the first matchup where he defeated Tomasz Narkun (18-3) via unanimous decision. Since their clash as KSW 47 in March 2019, the two champions have gone a combined 4-0 with an inevitable loss set to be added to this amazing run.

Proving to be the real deal by defeating KSW legend Mamed Khalidov twice, Tomasz Narkun (18-3) took his shot at becoming KSW’s second-ever double champ but came up short in his bid when he battled De Fries the first time in March 2019. “Zyrafa” has earned two finishes, both in the first round, by submission in his two light heavyweight title defenses since the losing bid for the heavyweight crown. With another crack at the chance, will one of KSW’s most dominant light heavyweight champions ever crown himself as the division’s top heavyweight as well?

Co-Main Event Championship Bout

After Mateusz Gamrot vacated the KSW lightweight and featherweight titles to join the UFC, Marian Ziolkowski (22-8-1) would answer the question as to who would become Gamrot’s successor at lightweight. Defeating Roman Szymanski by fourth-round TKO, at KSW 57, Ziolkowski is set to make his first title defense. Always a dangerous finisher, 18 of Ziolkowski’s career 22 wins have come by the finish with 12 of those by submission.

Starting his young career at 1-0, Maciej Kazieczko (7-1) joined with KSW and has looked amazing since then. Debuting with the organization at KSW 36 in October 2016, he has won his last four in a row including the last two bouts by TKO/KO. His most recent outing was a third-round TKO against Karlo Caput at KSW 54 in August 2020. Young into his career, four of his seven professional victories have come by finish.

Check out the rest of the KSW 60 card below. Former Polish boxing champion, Izu Ugonoh (1-0) will face WOTORE veteran Maciej Kazieczko (2-1). The always dangerous striker Aleksandar Ilic (12-4) battles KSW newcomer Adrian Dudek (5-1).
