UFC Edmonton Results

On a night where the clocks turn back an hour, the UFC keeps moving ahead with another edition of UFC Fight Night. This evening, Rogers Place is the site for UFC Edmonton.

Live coverage begins at 5 pm ET/ 2 pm PT on ESPN+ stateside with the prelims before main card action follows at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT. All told, tonight’s card now features 13 MMA fights due to the 11th-hour postponement of a heavyweight contest between Derrick Lewis (28-12, 1 NC MMA, 19-10 UFC) and Jhonita Diniz (8-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC).

Lewis withdrew from the card last night.

Diniz has been rebooked for UFC 309 vs. Marcin Tybura two weeks from tonight.

Main Event

At the top of the bill tonight is a main event at flyweight between No. 2 contender Brandon Moreno (21-8-2 MMA,  8-5-2 UFC) and No. 3 contender Amir Albazi (17-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC.) This is a five-round fight at five minutes per round to close the show.

Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, the co-main event takes place at women’s flyweight matching No. 3 contender Erin Blanchfield (12-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) and No. 5 contender Rose Namajunas (13-6 MMA, 11-5 UFC.) This, too is a five-round fight at five minutes per round.

Also on tonight’s main card, you’ll see a light heavyweight fight pitting Caio Machado (8-3-1 MMA, 0-2 UFC) against Brendson Ribeiro (15-7 MMA, 0-2 UFC), a women’s flyweight contest between No. 13 contender Ariane da Silva (17-9 MMA, 6-6 UFC) and No. 14 contender Jasmine Jasudavicius (11-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC), a middleweight tilt pairing Marc-Andre Barriault (16-8 MMA, 5-7 UFC) against Dustin Stolzfus (15-6 MMA, 2-5 UFC), and a welterweight fight between Mike Malott (10-2-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) and Trevin Giles (16-6 MMA, 7-6 UFC).
