The BFL 67 main event is set. The Battlefield Fight League heavyweight champion, Caio Machado will face-off against the Unified MMA Christian Larsen in the headlining bout of BFL 67.
Caio Machado Takes on Christian Larsen for BFL Heavyweight Gold
Machado (4-1-1) has won three fights in a row. The BFL heavyweight kingpin knocked out Dalton Duperreault at BFL 60, followed up with a majority decision against Justin Doege at BFL 64 and most recently TKO’d Lee Mein at BFL 66 in March.
Larsen (5-1) is also riding a three-fight winning streak. He won all three fights via stoppage and most recently a first-round TKO against Jared Kilkenny at Unified MMA 38 in 2019. This will be the first time Larsen ventures away from the Unified MMA cage in his professional career.
It is a long time coming for Canadian promotions to feature champion vs. champion fights. This will be one for the ages.
BFL 67 will take place on June 5 and will air live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
