He has been pulled out of his bout against Wellington Turman not even five hours before the event. Dulatov received a lot of backlash on social media for pulling out, but the pictures on his instagram should assure fans that situation is serious.
Nearly five hours before tonight's UFC Fight Night, Islam Dulatov had to pull out of his fight against Wellington Turman due to an infection, as was revealed via Instagram. Dulatov, who now fights out of Turkey was supposed to have his second bout in the UFC on the main card.
Islam Dulatov's Team with Statement That Didn't Please Many
News about this came earlier Saturday. His team tried to explain the situation to the audience, but fans on X were not happy to hear something like this. His team stated that Islam's social media was run by other people, indicating that he has given his all in preparations for this match.
"It is with great disappointment that we have to share the following news with you. Last night Islam was admitted to the hospital due to an infection and spent several hours receiving medical treatment. Despite every effort to keep the fight on, the decision was made together with the UFC to withdraw him from the bout in the interest of his health and well-being."
They followed up with an apology to the fans and assured them that Islam Dulatov will make use of his time off to recover and prepare for whatever is next and that he will address the matter himself when he is able to do that.

Unfortunately for Dulatov and his team, fans didn't receive the news well. A lot of negative comments were directed at him. The UFC confirmed the news, and as there is no replacement fighter, this bout was scrapped from tonight's event
