Conor McGregor has earned words of high praise from BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) founder and president David Feldman.

David Feldman and a number of BKFC stars partook in the BKFC Liberty Brawl pre-fight press conference ahead of the event that'll transpire in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 3.
The bare-knuckle boxing organization's special card marks the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence from the colonial rule of the erstwhile British Empire.
Incidentally, the world's premier MMA organization, UFC, recently held the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House in Washington on June 14, which also celebrated the 250th anniversary of the U.S. breaking the shackles of British colonial rule.
Well, amid the BKFC Liberty Brawl press conference and other promotional obligations, David Feldman spoke to Jake Noecker of Home of Fight.
Upon being asked for his thoughts on his BKFC business associate and friend Conor McGregor's comeback fight, Feldman suggested that McGregor has made invaluable pioneering contributions to MMA.
Alluding to McGregor's standing as a combat sports megastar, Feldman stated, "He's the king, man. Look, maybe he's not the best fighter in the world. He's the king. He did more for mixed martial arts than any single fighter did for any combat sport in the world. He did more for that."
Moreover, implying that McGregor is more focused than he's ever known him to be, Feldman said:
"And he's back, and he's the best Conor McGregor I've ever seen. Talking to him is like talking to a guy that I don't even know. He's unbelievably focused. He's unbelievably trained. He's fast. He's furious. And he's ready to cause some damage. I will be there front row at that UFC event and rooting him on."
Feldman further indicated that he can't bet on fights but would have bet his house on McGregor for his upcoming fight, thereby affirming his belief in how well-prepared "The Notorious" one is for his comeback at UFC 329.

Conor McGregor's rematch against Max Holloway marks the end of his lengthy hiatus from MMA
Former UFC featherweight and lightweight kingpin Conor McGregor and ex-UFC featherweight titlist and ex-BMF champ Max Holloway are no strangers to one another. They clashed early in their UFC tenures, with McGregor beating "Blessed" via unanimous decision in a featherweight matchup in 2013.
Currently, McGregor is booked to rematch Holloway in a welterweight matchup, which also marks the latter's welterweight divisional debut. The Dubliner and his Hawaiian rival will headline UFC 329 in Vegas on July 11.
It'd also be McGregor's first professional combat sports contest since his injury-marred MMA lightweight bout at UFC 264 in July 2021, leading many to speculate that he faces a tough task against Holloway inside the octagon next.
Furthermore, McGregor became a co-owner of the BKFC back in 2024 and has often expressed interest in possibly competing in the sport of bare-knuckle boxing under the BKFC banner. Nevertheless, as of this time, he still has a couple of fights left on his UFC contract, including his UFC 329 clash against Holloway.
