Chris Padilla calls out Jim Miller after his UFC Sacramento win, calling it a potential passing of the torch moment.

Chris Padilla has once again proven his supremacy as one of the finest lightweight fighters. He is a complete fighter who doesn't rely on a single skill to win a fight. In the third round at UFC Sacramento, he chokes Nasrat Haqparast in the final second of the fight. Notably, he hasn't lost the last nine fights, and now he is demanding to take on veteran Jim Miller.

After losing to Quillian Salkild, Haqparast wanted to come back, but Padilla had different plans. Although it appeared that the fight would go on the judges' scorecard, Padilla managed to choke Haqparast with a standing arm triangle in the final seconds of the fight. After the fight, the former Up Next Fighting champion now demands a fight with Jim Miller as his next opponent.

"I need Jim Miller. That's it. I don't I'm not worried about too many other names Jim's 19, I believe. Who else was do I have to do man? Just give me fights Did not Jim Miller just give me fights and I'll do what I got to do period. I'm gonna keep smoking, motherfu**ers. I've been watching that guy since I was a little man. So just a passing of the torch I can get Jim Miller out," Wint said.

For those who don't know, Miller holds several of the most prestigious longevity milestones in UFC history and is the fighter with the longest tenure on the roster. He has already engaged in 47 fights with the company, winning 28 of them. He began fighting in 2008, when the majority of today's fighters had not yet begun their training.

Consequently, Padilla wants to fight Miller, having watched him compete since he was growing up. Given his current winning run, 'Taco' sees Miller as the perfect opponent for a “passing of the torch” fight and wants to beat him to prove his supremacy.

Jim Miller Wants To Reach 50 UFC Fights In His Career

Miller has already fought 47 fights in his UFC career and at 42 he has re-signed with UFC as he wants to rwach 50 fight milestone. In his last fight he submitted Jared Gordon with submission showing the age is just a number for him. “50 is still the goal, but I'm realistic, as well. I fully understand that at 42, with the miles I have on my body, a blown-out knee, a blown-out shoulder, some of these things, I'm not coming back in a time frame that makes sense to continue,” Miller said talking to MMA Junkie.

Since no fighter in history has ever accomplished this feat, it would be a historic accomplishment if he were to fight fifty fights. But in order to do that, he must fight three more fights, which would be challenging to go on three fight camps.
