Darren Till’s BKFC Return Takes Wild Turn After Viral Liverpool Pub Clash

Darren Till was supposed to be worrying about Yoel Romero up until yesterday. Now, he might have bigger potential legal consequences to face.  The former UFC title challenger recently found himself at the center of another fight before his next one has even been booked into the ring.

Footage circulating online appears to show Brit confronting fellow bare-knuckle fighter Lee Browne outside a pub in Liverpool, with the argument quickly turning physical.

In what appears to be the sort of scene that feels almost tailor-made for Till, whose career has rarely been short on controversy or confrontation, “The Gorilla” delivered a three-piece combo to Browne. 

The footage begins with Till and Browne exchanging words as a crowd gathers around them. While what led to the altercation is unknown at this point, in the video, Till can clearly be heard addressing Browne.

“Who’s a s**thouse? I’m right here now,” Till says. What follows happens quickly. The 33-year-old lands a three-punch combination, with the final shot sending Browne tumbling to the pavement as the people around them react. 

The footage has since lit up social media, turning what was apparently a heated personal confrontation into something thousands of fight fans are now dissecting frame by frame. As Redditers and netizens divulge the incident, the background appears to be a rivalry that had already been simmering online.

Browne, who has competed in bare-knuckle boxing and previously fought under the BKFC banner, had reportedly spent weeks calling out the Brit. In fact, he had accused him of avoiding him and used plenty of less-than-friendly language while doing it. Whether those exchanges directly led to what happened outside the Liverpool pub is not something the available footage can establish.

Till and Browne Renew Hostilities

The two clearly weren't strangers to each other's animosity. For the unversed, "Da Banger" went 1-5 during his BKFC run between 2022 and 2024 before continuing his career elsewhere in the sport. His most recent fight came against Mason Shaw in 2025, ending in a unanimous decision loss.

The timing could hardly be more awkward for Till. He is slated to face Romero at BKFC 94 on Sept. 26 at Manchester's AO Arena, in what appears to be an intriguing one, given the two men's UFC backgrounds and reputations for throwing hurt bombs. 

Till's BKFC debut against Aaron Chalmers in May was hardly a quiet introduction. He was dropped early, recovered, and eventually stopped Chalmers with a vicious finish.

Now he has another viral knockout attached to his name, although this one came somewhere nobody expected to see it.

BKFC Yet to Comment on Incident

Whatever happened between him and Browne, a pub confrontation is a different league from the controlled violence of a sanctioned fight. As of now, there has been no official statement from Till, Browne, BKFC or local authorities explaining what happened.

For now, the most reasonable takeaway is simply that two fighters with an apparent history of bad blood crossed paths, and when things got heated, Till got the last word, although with his fists doing the talking.
