Fans Go Off on Movsar Evloev Following His Take on Female UFC Fighters

Movsar Evloev might be waiting for his turn to clinch the featherweight title. But ahead of his face-off with Alexander Volkanovski, the Russian MMA star has landed himself in some hot water. In a recent statement, Evloev mentioned that he does not like watching women fight in the UFC. Following such a controversial comment, fans online have lashed out at the 32-year-old. 

A fan commented, “Movsar should avoid topics like this. lol.”

Another fan said, “Well, there are girls who have more exciting fights than this egg-sniffer dude, who all he does is throw you to the ground and sniff your dick the whole fight.”

A third fan quipped, “Many women have more finishes than him and are more fun to watch.” 

Another user wrote, “this guy have like 0% finish rate, I'd rather watch Amanda Nunes than him.” 

This user pointed out, “I can't stand his haircut.”

A fan analyzed, “In the UFC, women have a very high level, there I don't agree with your mentality, I've enjoyed many women's fights as much as men's, an example is Alexa Grasso with the last show she put on.”

A user claimed, “In all those provinces south of Russia, the same thing happens; they abhor women's sports, everyone thinks that women should be at home taking care of the children.”

What did Movsar Evloev Say About Female Fighters?

Evloev recently sat down with MMA Junkie’s Mike Bohn. While talking about his upcoming bout, the Russian star also put forth his take on how he perceives the UFC women’s division. The 32-year-old featherweight admitted that he was not a big fan and proposed an entirely different league for the women. 

Evloev said, “Maybe they should create a separate UFC for them and then we'll see who watches it. I don't watch women's fights, I can't watch them, it's very difficult, I haven't seen many but all the ones I've seen haven't been good.” 

Surely, Evloev is in the firing line at the moment. Now, it remains to be seen how things pan out from here.
