Movsar Evloev stated that he does not feel women fighters in the UFC deliver quality bouts.

Movsar Evloev is currently gearing up for his title shot against Alexander Volkanovski. Before that, the undefeated UFC fighter has sparked a huge controversy. Speaking about the female fighters in Dana White’s promotion, Evloev stated that he was not a big fan.

Movsar Evloev feels Women’s Fights Aren't ‘Good’

In a recent interview, the UFC featherweight star pointed out that female bouts in the promotion lack quality. He detailed how watching the women fight did not live up to the hype. Shedding light further on the matter, Evloev pointed out that there must be an entirely different UFC only for women.

“I don't like women's fight. I can't watch it. It's so hard. Maybe one fight I watched, and I liked. It was fight of Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Rose Namajunas 2, high level,” said Evloev.

He further added, “I don't watch a lot of fights, but all fights I watched of women wasn't good. Maybe then need separate UFC just for women and we'll see who watch this."

This is not the first time a UFC star has made such comments about female fighters. Earlier, the likes of Sean Strickland too, dropped some scathing remarks about women fighting inside the octagon. Meanwhile, the Russian mixed martial artist also addressed the claims that his fights were ‘boring.’

Movsar Evloev Defends ‘Boring’ Claims

The UFC featherweight star has been around in the UFC for quite some time now. However, the 32-year-old has never been able to finish off any of his opponents. Wrestling and taking down his opponents predominantly, fans have termed his style as boring.

Now, defending his stylistic approach, Evloev said, “No finish' doesn’t mean boring. But I have a lot of fans who love my fights because of wrestling, because of, you know, some weird situations; my submission defense is great, and my striking is getting better. Takedowns are good when you understand MMA. I’m here to be a champion, to be the best in the world, and to make my family happy by winning.”

Surely, things are heating up at the moment. Now, fans will be interested to know what comes next.
