Jean Silva is known to be quite animated during some of the key moments in the buildup to his fights. The Brazilian fighter doesn't shy away from doing so even when being officially introduced -- as part of the formal fighter introductions -- by Bruce Buffer moments before his UFC fights start. 

Speaking of which, Silva -- after his third-round submission win in his latest fight, at Noche UFC 4 last week -- shared a rather emotional moment with Buffer. The 29-year-old bowed in a sign of respect to the "Veteran Voice of the Octagon," with the latter also reciprocating in kind. 

Following their display of mutual respect inside the Octagon after Noche UFC 4, Buffer posted footage of their heartwarming exchange to X, alongside a written statement that read: 

"Always an honor to share emotional moments with our Octagon Warriors such as this one with Jean Silva after his 3rd rd. submission win in the main event at Noche UFC."

Capping off his post with a 'folded hands' emoji, Buffer proceeded to tag Silva in it.

Silva soon responded to Buffer's message with an X post of his own, wherein the UFC fighter stated, "Bruce Buffer is the personification of my dream, getting my name announced by him is always a indescribable honor."

Jean Silva's redemption at Noche UFC 4; potential Aljamain Sterling fight after beating Jose Miguel Delgado

Jean Silva's 13-fight MMA win streak came to an end at last year's Noche UFC event, namely Noche UFC 3. He headlined the card against Diego Lopes, with their back-and-forth fight ending with Lopes scoring a second-round TKO victory. 

Silva has bounced back with a pair of wins. "Lord" bested Arnold Allen by way of unanimous decision earlier this year. Moreover, his next, and latest, fight saw him achieve what many fans have deemed redemption after his previous Noche UFC appearance. 

Silva rallied from a tough first round to submit Jose Miguel Delgado in round three of their featherweight clash that headlined Noche UFC 4 on September 12. 

Furthermore, Silva was originally booked to fight ex-interim UFC featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez at Noche UFC 4, but Rodriguez had to withdraw from the matchup owing to an injury. Following the withdrawal, which came last month, Delgado stepped in as the replacement opponent. 

With Silva having gotten past the dangerous Delgado, he's vowed to continue his winning ways. The aggressive athlete, who's gained prominence with his high-octane fighting style, has traded barbs with former UFC bantamweight titleholder and current featherweight contender Aljamain Sterling. The belief is that their potential featherweight showdown could be on the horizon.
