Murtazali Magomedov vs. Jose Delano booked for UFC Vegas 124
The featherweight prospects will make their second UFC appearance when they meet at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Nov. 7.
Murtazali Magomedov and Jose Delano are set to face each other at UFC Vegas 124 on Nov. 7. Both fighters will make their second UFC appearance after competing on Dana White's Contender Series last year. MMA Mania first reported the matchup.
Murtazali Magomedov Returns After UFC Debut
Undefeated in his professional career, Magomedov is coming off an impressive UFC debut in June, when he submitted Melsik Baghdasaryan with a twister in the first round, becoming only the fourth UFC fighter to score the submission. The Kyrgyz fighter has never gone the distance, holding an 11-0 record with five wins by knockout and six by submission.
The 27-year-old previously earned his UFC contract by defeating Brahyam Zurcher in less than two minutes on DWCS in September 2025. Magomedov has built his perfect record by consistently looking for the finish, with his aggressive style combining powerful striking with a strong grappling game.
Jose Delano Looks to Extend UFC Winning Streak
Delano, meanwhile, will enter the matchup with a 17-3 professional record and a five-fight winning streak. The Brazilian made his UFC debut in April, defeating Robert Ruchala by unanimous decision.
A former Shooto Brasil featherweight champion, the 29-year-old earned his UFC contract after defeating Manuel Exposito by unanimous decision on DWCS in August 2025. Delano has won four fights by knockout and five by submission during his career, showcasing a well-rounded style that allows him to be dangerous both on the feet and on the ground.
UFC Vegas 124 will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and will be headlined by Sean Brady vs. Gabriel Bonfim.
