Taking a Look at Undefeated Fighters of UFC Vegas 119
UFC Vegas 119 happens Saturday. Five undefeated fighters will go to battle this weekend.
UFC Vegas 119 will feature some of the best mixed martial arts competitors on the planet. However, in comparison to most cards the promotion has put on this year, five of the 24 fighters appearing at the event are undefeated.
Hailing from all over the world, these athletes will endeavor to survive their respective nights at the Meta Apex, while keeping their pristine professional records intact. From the preliminaries to the main card, which undefeated names will get their hands raised or finally falter from the ranks of the unbeaten?
These are the five undefeated combatants who are competing at UFC Vegas 119:
UFC Vegas 119's Undefeated Fighters: 5. Shane Collins (7-0)
Boasting a strong campaign on the regional scene, Shane Collins had fought largely in Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat organization. Winning five bouts in a row under their banner, the 26-year old had previously captured the promotion’s featherweight strap, concluding his stint as champion with two title defenses.
Although very young in his professional tenure, Collins had already logged an extensive amateur journey, amassing a 9-2 record.
At UFC Vegas 119, “Hollywood” will lock horns with Georgian sensation Otari Tanzilovi. Making his debut this Saturday, Tanzilovi will look to make a spectacular impression after a failed attempt to earn a contract with the company back in 2024 following a loss on the Contender Series.
Since that setback, “Memo” recently bounced back into the winner’s circle with a splendid victory over Ultimate Fighter 32 veteran Guillermo Torres. While his fight with Collins will be his first match since February 2025, Tanzilovi is eager to show that he does belong among the top mixed martial artists in the business.
UFC Vegas 119's Undefeated Fighters: 4. Bia Mesquita (7-0)
Beginning her own time with the UFC last year, Bia Mesquita has swiftly made her way into the women’s bantamweight top 15 after just two wins. Currently occupying the No. 13 spot at the time of this writing, the undefeated Brazilian contender has recorded two consecutive rear-naked choke victories, along with one Performance of the Night bonus.
Prior to her call to the promotion, “The Lady Goat” had garnered international praise for capturing the LFA 135-lb strap, stopping the then also unbeaten Sierra Dinwoodie. Now making her way to the Apex, Mesquita will cross paths with Melissa Mullins as one of the biggest favorites on the entire UFC Vegas 119 card.
Though she stands elite in her own right, Mullins has struggled immensely to remain consistent in the organization, compiling a middling 2-2 record after making the walk to the Octagon in 2023. Her biggest battles, however, have come outside the cage, with “No Mess” missing weight twice in both of her matches in 2024.
UFC Vegas 119's Undefeated Fighters: 3. André Lima (11-0)
Emerging as one of Brazil’s stalwart prospects, André Lima has enjoyed a rapid ascension up the flyweight ladder. Netting his contract with the UFC after a dominant showing over Rickson Zenidim on the Contender Series in 2023, “Mascote” has quickly accumulated a 4-0 record in the Octagon, with his latest triumph coming last year after submitting Daniel Barez to snag his first Performance of the Night bonus.
The most notable moment of his UFC run, though, came at UFC Vegas 89 in his preliminary scrap with Igor Severino, whom Lima would defeat by disqualification after Severino bit his arm in the clinch. Fighting at UFC Vegas 119, he now faces fellow Contender Series alum Kevin Borjas.
In comparison to his opponent this weekend, Borjas’s stint in the promotion has been plagued by more downs than ups. Making his freshman outing under the UFC banner three years ago, the Peru native had the unfortunate luck of having to battle and lost to future 125-lb champion Joshua Van. He then went on to go 1-3 in his next four fights, suffering a recent knockout loss to Imanol Rodriguez in February.
UFC Vegas 119's Undefeated Fighters: 2. Murtazali Magomedov (10-0)
Fighting out of Kyrgyzstan, Murtazali Magomedov has picked up a great amount of hype surrounding his first Octagon assignment at UFC Vegas 119. Undefeated as both an amateur and a professional, “The Highlight” put on a masterclass performance on the Contender Series this past September by starching Brahyam Zurcher in just over half a minute.
A previous Octagon League featherweight titleholder, Magomedov boasts an electrifying 100 percent finishing rate, with all of his wins being split evenly with five knockouts and five submissions. Stepping onto the biggest stage in the sport this weekend, he will test himself against Armenian athlete Melsik Baghdasaryan.
Making his company debut all the way back in 2020, Baghdasaryan has remained a talented competitor in the UFC’s stacked 145-lb class, where he has claimed victories over the likes of Bruno Souza and Tucker Lutz.
Coming back to action after an extensive layoff following his loss to Jean Silva at UFC Fight Night 252 last year, Baghdasaryan is looking to get back on track in a big way by turning away the rise of Magomedov before it even has a chance to begin.
UFC Vegas 119's Undefeated Fighters: 1. Navajo Stirling (9-0)
Taking on his biggest assignment to date, Navajo Stirling is set to serve in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 119. Starting his professional career a mere four years ago, the City Kickboxing prodigy has become a hot prospect in the organization. Setting his sights on the elite of the light heavyweight division, he has bested a handful of stern opponents like Ivan Erslan, Rodolfo Bellato, and Bruno Lopes. Gearing up for a possible chance to take on the top 15 of the weight category, Stirling is hoping for a resounding showing this weekend against Moldovan juggernaut Ion Cuțelaba.
A member of the UFC roster since 2016, Cuțelaba has shared the cage with several accomplished 205-lb fighters like Khalil Rountree Jr.,Glover Teixeira, andMagomed Ankalaev. Thrusting himself back into the winner’s circle three months ago by tapping out touted French phenom Oumar Sy in the first round, “The Hulk” is embarking on his own warpath towards UFC gold.
