UFC Vegas 119 brought one of the most electrifying knockout artists in the sport to the forefront once more, as Angolan star Manel Kape trounced his former RIZIN rival Kyoji Horiguchi in amazing fashion.

Despite losing the first two rounds on all but one of the judge’s scorecards due to the effective wrestling of the Japanese, “StarBoy” managed to down Horiguchi with a devastating punch before finishing him off with ground-and-pound. The win not only avenged Kape’s previous defeat to Horiguchi almost a decade ago, but it also might have earned him the chance to contend for the flyweight championship.

These are the most interesting post-event facts about the main card fighters of UFC Vegas 119.

UFC Vegas 119: Vinicius Oliveira def. Andre Fili

Vinicius Oliveira

Oliveira's win over Fili is his first victory by strikes in over two years since logging a triumph over Benardo Sopaj at UFC Vegas 87. He has now won 17 bouts by knockout.

The win also earned him his third Fight of the Night bonus. He is now 5-1 in his last six fights

Andre Fili

Fili's loss to Oliveira is his fifth professional loss by knockout. It also netted him his second ever Fight of the Night bonus.

His UFC record now stands at an even 13-13 with one no-contest.

UFC Vegas 119: Murtazali Magomedov def. Melsik Baghdasaryan

Murtazali Magomedov

Magomedov's win over Baghdasaryan was his 11th professional victory in a row, as well as his sixth by submission, tapping out the Armenian with a twister, making him only the fourth fighter in UFC history to win a promotional contest with the technique. His victory also granted him his first Performance of the Night award.

Melsik Baghdasaryan

His loss to Magomedov served as his second consecutive defeat. Both of those losses have come by first-round finish. All of his setbacks as a professional have occurred via stoppage,

At the time of all his losses in the UFC, his opponents had a then combined record of 36-3

Rodriguez' win over Amil brought to an end his two-fight losing skid. It's also the first time he had beaten someone older than him in the UFC since besting Isaac Dulgarian back in 2024 at UFC Fight Night: Tuivasa vs. Tybura.

His dropping of Amil was the first time he had knocked down his opponent in his 11 UFC tilts

His stoppage triumph over Cuțelaba was both his tenth win in a row and his sixth professional victory by strikes. It also was the first time he had won two or more scraps by knockout in almost two years. Coincidentally, those two victories have happened in the second round.

He is now 2-0 in UFC main card fights.

Ion Cuțelaba

His loss to Stirling is his fourth by knockout as a professional. It's also the most control time (3:01) he has accrued in a match since his meeting with Kennedy Nzechukwu back in 2022 (3:32.)
