UFC Vegas 119's weigh-ins took place earlier this morning. MMA Sucka brings you up to speed on the happenings on the scales today.

UFC Vegas 119 is almost here. Tomorrow night, Meta Apex in Enterprise, NV serves as the setting for the second edition of UFC Fight Night in the year's sixth month. With the summer season on the horizon this weekend, the action in the fabled Octagon, much like the weather outside, will be hot.

Live coverage of this UFC event begins tomorrow at 5 pm ET/ 2 pm PT on Paramount Plus with the prelims. Main card action will immediately follow at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT.

All told, 12 fights will comprise the Saturday night schedule in Enterprise tomorrow evening. Earlier this morning, the official weigh-in window took place in Las Vegas.

Kevin Borjas Misses Weight by 3 lbs at UFC Vegas 119 Weigh-Ins

Although tomorrow's featured preliminary contest in the flyweight division will take place as scheduled, one fighter will be surrendering some of his pay ahead of the card. Kevin Borjas (129 lbs,) set to take on Andre Lima (126 lbs,) missed the flyweight nontitle maximum by 3 lbs this morning at the weigh-ins.

As such, the former cedes 20 percent of his wages to the latter. This was the lone weight miss on a quick morning at the scales.

Speed Order of the Day at UFC Vegas 119 Weigh-Ins

Today's official weigh-in window set a new record for the fastest such window in UFC promotional history. All told, the 24 fighters booked to compete on tomorrow night's show were on and off of the scales in a blistering 15 minutes.

The 15-minute timeframe bested the previous high mark of 23 minutes, set back in 2017 ahead of UFC London. This now-fallen record was tied in December of 2019 prior to UFC Busan.

Headlining Bouts On-Target Ahead of UFC Vegas 119 Saturday Night

The fights at the top of the card are now officially confirmed to be going ahead tomorrow at UFC Vegas 119 at the Apex. No. 2 contender Manel Kape (126 lbs) hit the flyweight nontitle target exactly for his fight against No. 5 contender Kyoji Horiguchi (125 lbs.)

This five-round fight at five minutes per round is a rematch of a contest in RIZIN Fighting Federation from 2017. That night, Horiguchi scored the victory by way of third-round submission (head and arm choke.)

Your co-main event takes place at light heavyweight. Ion Cutelaba (205 1/2 lbs) came within half of a pound of the 206-lb limit for nontitle encounters, while his opponent, Navajo Stirling (205 lbs,) came in on championship weight for the co-main attraction.

Stirling is one of five undefeated fighters competing tomorrow at UFC Vegas 119. This co-main event is a maximum of three rounds at five minutes per round.
