Paddy Pimblett was left mightily impressed with Carlos Prates smoking a cigar cageside.

Paddy Pimblett has had enough controversies of his own. Owing to his mic skills, ‘The Baddy’ has attracted some real heat from critics and fans alike. However, the English fighter, who was recently in attendance at UFC 330, was taken aback by one bizarre act of Carlos Prates.

Paddy Pimblett Surprised with Carlos Prates’ Smoking

Apart from Pimblett, also enjoying the in-octagon action was Prates. At a certain point, the English fighter caught the Brazilian smoking a cigar ringside. Looking at the situation, Pimblett was so surprised that he could not stop laughing.

Later, commenting on the incident, the UFC lightweight star said, “Carlos is a legend, I love that guy. He's probably my favourite fighter now, he's f***ing sick."

Surely, it is evident that Prates was able to impress and surprise the 31-year-old star at the same time. Interestingly, that was not the only thing that happened with Prates. Sitting beside his fellow welterweight, Michael Morales, the Brazilian fighter could be seen speaking with one of Morales’ acquaintances. It was later revealed that Morales’ friend tried to convince Prates to sign up for a fight, which he declined.

Meanwhile, Paddy Pimblett also had a lot to say about his own UFC future.

Paddy Pimblett Reveals Who he Wants to Fight Next

Following his loss against Justin Gaethje, Pimblett came back strongly with a win against Benoit Saint-Denis. Catching the French fighter early on in their bout with a chokehold, Pimblett finished his fight in the first round itself. Now, looking to edge closer to a championship opportunity, ‘The Baddy’ has detailed that he wanted either Ilia Topuria or Arman Tsarukyan next.

Speaking about both the fighters, the English fighter stated, “Don't get me wrong, I respect Ilia, but we've had beef for years. I think he's a little helmet. I'd love to fight him and give him s*** the best f***ing thing in the world.”

He also added, “But I've got no respect for Arman. He's just a rich kid. It's like Daddy's a millionaire. Without that, he wouldn't be where he is. He's sitting there eating caviar for $2,000 for breakfast.”

Reigniting his heat with his fellow lightweights, it now remains to be seen if Dana White grants Pimblett his wish next.
