Tommy McMillen elaborates on how his massive size would be beneficial for him to dominate the UFC featherweight division.

Alexander Volkanovski and Movsar Evloev might be fighting for the UFC Featherweight Championship. there is one particular fighter who is threatening to take over the entire 145lbs division. Oozing confidence, McMillen has now sent a chilling warning to all the fighters in the division ahead of his Noche UFC fight against Marwan Rahiki.

What Message does Tommy McMillen Have for Featherweights?

McMillen recently interacted with MMA Fighting and expressed how he felt about his fellow featherweight fighters. While he is only two fights old, the 28-year-old has finished his opponents on both occasions. And McMillen feels that due to his massive size, the fighter has an upper hand.

McMillen said, “That’s where my confidence comes from. I truly believe I can beat anybody at 145 pounds. I know I have the tools to. I’m 6’6, 220 pounds. Like 6’6, 220. I’m a f*cking big 45er. So I have that in my arsenal, and then you add the fact that I’ve been wrestling my whole life.I can stop people’s wrestling if I need to. And then just my love for fighting and be able to fight with anybody".

That's really a big statement for a newcomer. At the moment, his initial focus should be to secure a dominant win in the upcoming UFC Noche.

Tommy McMillen Offers Himself as Backup to Alexander Volkanovski Title Fight

Come the UFC 333 main event, Volkanovski and Evloev will go against each other with the featherweight gold on the line. Having dominated the division for so long, ‘Volk’ will walk in as the clear favorite. But Evloev does have the potential to script an upset. However, looking ahead of the duo, McMillen has recently claimed that he wants to step in as the backup fighter for the bout in case the title contenders suffer any unforeseen setbacks.

McMillen said, “100 percent, UFC wants to pay me and be like, ‘Yo, Tommy, come be the backup for this fight.’ F*cking send me, bro. I’ll pull up there like a bag of f*cking Cheez-Its and dust any one of them boys, bro".

Currently, there’s no confirmation on whether the UFC is considering McMillen as a backup.
