The best prospects in mixed martial arts are back in action for the second episode of Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS 88). In the main event, Namo Fazil faces established veteran Kaik Brito. Before that, Douglas Henrique Rodrigues takes on Trent Miller.
DWCS 88 Main Event
Traveling all over the planet to compete at the highest level, Fazil is in the midst of a splendid seven-fight winning streak. Last seen in the cage after picking up a huge victory over Jake Babian at MVP MMA 1, “Grandson of Saladin” aims to leave the Meta Apex with a UFC contact in his hand one way or another.
This past February, Brito achieved worldwide notoriety by scoring the OKTAGON middleweight strap with a spinning backfist knockout over Ronald Paradeiser. Hungry to wrap UFC gold around his waist, the Brazilian is seeking to make it three in a row this Tuesday night.
DWCS 88 Co-Main Event
Undefeated in his last five fights, Rodrigues is among the latest of lethal South American prospects that are looking to make their name known on the international scene. Coming off a title victory in his last contest in the Future MMA promotion, “Blade” enters Las Vegas with a large amount of confidence.
Training out of Xtreme Couture, Miller has found much success on the regional scene, owning seven spectacular victories by knockout. With just one more stoppage, “The Terminator" could find himself earning a UFC contract before the night is over.
