UFC 329 is set to feature the return of one of combat sport’s most iconic figures, with former featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor squaring off with future hall-of-famer Max Holloway at welterweight. In the co-main event, French bulldozer Benoît Saint Denis seeks to put himself into title contention when he meets up with English star Paddy Pimblett.
UFC 329 Main Event
Having been away from the Octagon for over five years, McGregor is at last ready to put on the hallowed UFC gloves once more. Coming off a catastrophic leg injury in his last time out, “Notorious” is out to prove that he still has what it takes to make it all the way to the top as the best fighter in the world.
Crossing paths with the Irish megastar almost 13 years ago, Holloway suffered a one-sided setback to McGregor on the cards. In the time since that setback, “Blessed” has gone on to build a legacy as an all-time great combatant, capturing the UFC featherweight strap and defending it multiple times. Eager to even the score with his European adversary, Holloway sets out to show what he’s got by becoming one of the few names in the company to earn wins at 145-lb, 155-lb, and 170-lb.
