UFC Sacramento is the promotion's first trip to California's capital city since 2019.

UFC Sacramento pushes some of the best middleweights on the display, with divisional grappling ace Anthony Hernandez facing off with Brazilian powerhouse Gregory Rodrigues. In the co-main event, heavyweight contenders duke it out, as Serghei Spivac seeks to keep his place in the top ten when he battles the streaking Vitor Petrino.

From 2020 to 2026, Hernandez unleashed a devastating reign of terror over the 185-lb class, winning eight straight fights, ending six of those bouts by stoppage. While his extensive stint in the win column may have been ended by future two-time champion Sean Strickland back in February, “Fluffy” remains undeterred in his quest toward UFC gold.

In the middleweight landscape, there are several hard-hitting individuals that reside in the weight category’s upper echelon, however, none have struck as much fear into contenders and prospects alike like Rodrigues. Collecting three back-to-back victories over Jack Hermansson, Roman Kopylov, and Brunno Ferreira, “Robocop” is looking to shine in his second UFC top-billed scrap.

A staple of the UFC heavyweight division since 2019, Spivac has tested himself against some of the preeminent fighters on the planet, including current title-holders Ciryl Gane and Tom Aspinall. Traveling to the Golden State for his second Octagon appearance this year, “Polar Bear” prepares to brawl with a surging prospect from South America.Petrino

A previous standout at light heavyweight, Petrino has since gone up to 265-lb, with stupendous results. Winner of three straight contests, the Brazilian striker wants to bust down the door to the rankings with a thunderous triumph at UFC Sacramento.
