Francis Ngannou is the hottest prospect in combat sports. GLORY Kickboxing, the top premiere kickboxing organization, says that they have been speaking with the former UFC heavyweight world champion.
Cameroon’s Francis Ngannou walked away from his UFC contract and vacated his heavyweight world title in pursuit of other passions. While he did hope to compete in professional boxing, it was not just that and it wasn’t only about money. Ngannou left the UFC because they could not come to an agreement as he was asking for athletes to have in-cage sponsors, health insurance, and an advocate.
Francis Ngannou is an experienced MMA fighter who has trained alongside the GLORY heavyweight titleholder Rico Verhoeven. Ngannou seems most interested in a professional boxing match, however, kickboxing with GLORY may be on the horizon.
