Alex Pereira notes his and Ciryl Gane's biggest weapons in their title fight at UFC Freedom 250

Alex Pereira has seemingly opened up about what, in his opinion, are the most significant weapons that he and Ciryl Gane could utilize in their upcoming clash. 

Pereira, who's a former Glory Kickboxing middleweight and light heavyweight champion, has cemented himself as a superstar in the sport of MMA as well.

The 38-year-old is an ex-UFC middleweight and light heavyweight champion and is currently seeking a world title in a third weight class in the UFC MMA organization.

Presently, Alex Pereira is scheduled to make his heavyweight MMA debut. He's booked to face former interim UFC heavyweight champion, the 36-year-old Ciryl Gane, in the co-headlining match of UFC Freedom 250.

Reigning UFC heavyweight title holder Tom Aspinall has been out of action, owing to eye injuries, since his NC (No Contest) against Gane last October. As such, the Pereira vs. Gane matchup has the interim UFC heavyweight belt at stake -- with the winner going on to fight Aspinall in a title unifier when he returns. 

The star-studded UFC Freedom 250 event will be held on the South Lawn of the White House, which is counted among the most significant places in regard to the socio-political realm in the United States of America.

During a recent conversation with UFC on-screen personality and correspondent, Megan Olivi, Alex Pereira discussed his highly anticipated showdown against Ciryl Gane. 

Olivi asked what Pereira feels he ought to be most aware of out of all of Gane's skills. "Poatan" responded by stating: "I think his (Ciryl Gane's) strength." 

Additionally, Olivi asked that, on the other side, what he believes would be his most important weapon to use from his entire arsenal against Gane. The veteran Brazilian fighter replied by saying, "I think it's the variety. I don't really have anything that specific." 

Incidentally, Pereira's aforementioned answers appear to tie in with fan speculation surrounding the fight. 

On one hand, some fans have argued that Gane, having competed at heavyweight throughout his MMA career, would be better accustomed to the weight and strength dynamics of the division of giants. Ergo, he might have a strength advantage against Pereira. 

On the other hand, a number of fans have alluded to the fact that Pereira has showcased a diverse arsenal of skills in kickboxing and MMA as well. Therefore, the variety he brings to the octagon could possibly befuddle even a nimble, creative striker like "Bon Gamin."
