Andre Fili Part of UFC’s Featherweight Roster for Over  Decade

Making his debut in the organization back in 2013 as a hot 12-1 competitor, Andre Fili has enjoyed a successful journey in the UFC’s featherweight division. While he has never managed to enter the weight class’ upper most echelon, “Touchy” has remained a consistent figure near the top 10, reaching as high as No. 13 in the rankings Sharing the cage with notable 145-lb stalwarts like Calvin Kattar, Yair Rodríguez, and Max Holloway, Fili carries a multitude of world-class experience.

In recent years, however, the Team Alpha Male product has struggled to remain in the winner’s circle on a consistent basis. Since 2019, the UFC featherweight staple has regularly traded wins and losses, not able to get any real momentum going. Coming off a win over the talented Christian Rodriguez in his last time out, Andre Fili will attempt to secure his second consecutive victory in over 6 years when he faces Jose Delgado at UFC Vegas 114 this Saturday.

Delgado Boasts Proven Track Record Against Older Opposition

Arriving in the company in February 2025 after earning his contract with a blistering knockout on the Contender Series, Delgado quickly impressed in his first two matches in the Octagon, scoring two first round finishes over UFC featherweight bruisers Connor Matthews and Hyder Amil.

His warpath would be halted in disappointing fashion, though, after coming face-to-face with the grizzled Nathaniel Wood at UFC 321. Unable to find the stoppage early on, Delgado’s gas tank wound up faltering in the later rounds, allowing the more conditioned Englishman to pick apart his younger adversary to find the unanimous decision.

The loss proved to be a big setback for Delgado, making it the first time he hadn’t gotten his hand raised in two years. With the sting of his last performance still fresh on his skin, the MMA Lab representative is eager to bounce back to form at UFC Vegas 114. Taking on another seasoned competitor in Andre Fili, Delgado stands as a sizable favorite.

Other than his loss to Wood, he had previously beaten his last five opponents, all of whom were older than him.
