Darren Till Dismisses Tommy Fury, Takes Aim at Fight with Mike Perry

Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till knows exactly who he wants to fight next. Following his recent bare-knuckle victory, the Scouser shut down chatter surrounding a potential clash with Tommy Fury. Instead, the Liverpool native set his sights firmly on a long-brewing grudge match against fellow combat sports firebrand Mike Perry.

A Stadium-Sized Showdown

Speaking in his post-fight interview, Till made his feelings on Fury crystal clear while pleading with BKFC officials to lock in a showdown with Perry.

“I personally think me and Mike Perry sell a stadium out,” Till declared. “I don’t give two f***s about Tommy Fury.”

The feud between Till and Perry traces back nearly a decade to their days competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. During his UFC tenure, Till compiled a 6-5-1 Octagon record, part of an 18-5-1 overall mixed martial arts record, landing 375 significant strikes at a 46 percent accuracy rate while competing at both welterweight and middleweight.

Meanwhile, Perry established himself as one of the UFC's most entertaining brawlers, logging a 7-8 UFC record while averaging 4.32 significant strikes landed per minute and scoring seven finishes inside the cage.

While Fury continues to pursue high-profile boxing bouts, Till insists a fight with "Platinum" possesses vastly superior heat and marketability. Till even admitted he would accept less favorable financial terms just to finalize the fight, revealing he could comfortably retire after settling his storied history with Perry.

With Perry currently recovering from a dislocated shoulder, BKFC president David Feldman has acknowledged interest in booking the massive rivalry once the American is cleared.
