Darren Till open to Michael Page fight in BKFC

Darren Till is open to fighting Michael Page in the BKFC. The former UFC welterweight title challenger is set to face Yoel Romero in a cruiserweight bout at BKFC 94 on Saturday, but has already shown interest in another potential matchup. Page recently left the UFC after the promotion decided not to re-sign him, and Till believes a bare-knuckle fight between them could happen if the former UFC contender decides to return to the BKFC.

Page is no stranger to the BKFC, having competed there once in August 2022 when he suffered a decision loss to Mike Perry. The British fighter continued his MMA career afterward, fighting for Bellator before joining the UFC. The 39-year-old went 5-1 in the UFC before leaving the promotion following his unanimous decision victory over Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC Paris earlier this month.

Till, meanwhile, is expected to make his second BKFC appearance on Saturday when he takes on Romero in Manchester. The Englishman made his promotional debut in May, defeating Aaron Chalmers by TKO. Speaking to Bloody Elbow, Till said a matchup with Page could happen if the former UFC contender decides to return to bare-knuckle boxing.

"Yeah, definitely," Till said. "I know Michael, he's a very good fighter who was just let go by the UFC. If he was to re-sign and schedule that fight, yeah, me and him would get it on. We just have to see where he wants to go. I know he does a little bit of film and stuff like that, who knows if he'll even fight again. Sometimes you can be a bit disheartened, especially for him now. But yeah, it's something I'd be really open to. I think he's a good fighter as well."

For now, Till is focused on his bout against Romero in the BKFC 94 main event on Sept. 26 at the AO Arena in Manchester.
