Yoel Romero vows to finish Darren Till at BKFC 94

The former UFC title challenger is confident he will stop Darren Till when they meet at BKFC 94.
Yoel Romero is confident he will make a statement against Darren Till at BKFC 94. The former UFC title challenger will take on the former UFC middleweight contender on Sept. 26 in Manchester, England, and has no doubts about how the fight will end. The Cuban fighter also vowed not to repeat what happened at IBA Bare Knuckle 4 in Russia, where he lost to Vagab Vagabov in March.
Yoel Romero Predicts Finish Against Darren Till
Romero is set to face Till in a highly anticipated clash between two former UFC fighters. The Cuban veteran has competed in several combat sports promotions since leaving the UFC, while Till will make his second BKFC appearance after defeating Aaron Chalmers by TKO in May. With their fight just around the corner, Romero is confident he has what it takes to finish the British fighter.
"Yes, of course I'm finishing him," Romero told Hablemos MMA. "Of course, I'm finishing. I'm finishing him. I'm finishing him."
Yoel Romero Doesn't Want to Repeat Russia Experience
Romero is also determined not to repeat what happened during his most recent fight in Russia. In March, the "Soldier of God" faced Vagabov at IBA Bare Knuckle 4 in St. Petersburg and was defeated by unanimous decision. Looking back at that experience, Romero admitted he was unhappy with the outcome and said he has taken the necessary precautions to ensure he does not go through the same situation again.
"I wasn't there," Romero said. "I wasn't there. It's not good to say it, because I'm a man of God, but if you ask me, I have to be sincere with you. I feel bad about what happened in Russia, and I am not letting that happen again. I'm not letting that happen again, and we've taken the necessary precautions so that that doesn't happen again."
Romero will now look to put that experience behind him when he faces Till at BKFC 94. The Cuban fighter has continued competing at 49 years old and remains confident that he can perform at a high level.
