Ilia Topuria Looks Locked In During Latest Pad Session With a Message About Faith and Strength

Ilia Topuria appears focused as ever in his latest pad session, sharing a powerful message about faith, inner strength, and the warrior mentality.
Ilia Topuria's fans want one thing right now: to see him back inside the Octagon. His last fight was absolutely shocking. He lost his title to Justin Gaethje at UFC Freedom 250, and with it went his undefeated record, as he lost the first fight of his career. Fans have been waiting for him to bounce back ever since. Topuria has often written and posted about how badly he wants to bounce back. Now he has shared another training video, this time with a message about faith.
Ilia Topuria Shares Intense Training Footage
Topuria recently posted a black-and-white clip of himself training hard. The UFC star looked locked in on his preparation, and the caption carried a message about faith, strength, and hard work. He spoke about trusting God, believing in yourself, and staying committed to the process.
The former champion also urged people to keep fighting through their struggles and carry a warrior's mindset, letting the work speak for itself. In his words, âGod knows your battles. Your heart knows your strength. The work does the rest. Be a warrior.â
Topuria has built his entire career on grit and belief. He trusts his training and he trusts God, and that mindset has carried him to everything he has achieved in the sport. He is leaning on the same approach again as he works his way back from the Gaethje loss. Meanwhile, former UFC star Jorge Masvidal says he would bet his house on Topuria if he gets a rematch with Gaethje.
Jorge Masvidal Backs Ilia Topuria to Dominate Justin Gaethje Again
Watching the first fight live, Masvidal felt Topuria didn't give Gaethje enough respect, especially in the opening round after those first two blows landed. In his view, Topuria wasn't using the things that made him special: his feints, his footwork, and his ability to mix in a takedown.
âThat first round, those first two blows that he got hit with, I felt like when I was watching it live, 'You're not giving this guy enough respect.' Youâre not using what has made you special: your feints, your footwork, you mix in a takedown,â White said.
Topuria didn't look like himself in that fight, apart from the first round. âEl Matadorâ struggled to work the game plan he usually runs. It will be interesting to see who Topuria fights when he returns. For now, Arman Tsarukyan looks like the next challenger for the title.
