Melvin Guillard and Jim Miller are set to headline the inaugural UFC on FX as announced this afternoon on the UFC twitter feed. Both fighters were a few wins away from competing for the lightweight title, however both had been derailed with a loss in their last fights.

Guillard was on a 5 fight winning streak before being submitted in the first round by Joe Lauzon at UFC 136. Miller was riding a 7 fight winning streak before being handed a decision loss against the now number one contender Benson Henderson at UFC Live: Hardy vs Lytle.
UFC on FX is expected to take place on January 20, 2012 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
