MMA Guru Goes Off on Dagestani Fanbase

Over the years, the UFC has witnessed several fighters dominating the octagon. But following the inclusion of the Dagestani fighters, the scenario has changed drastically. What started with Khabib Nurmagomedov has now spread significantly. All over the MMA fraternity, the Dagestanis are leaving a dominant footprint.

However, despite the fighters’ success, the behavior of their fanbase has allegedly offended a lot of people. MMA Guru is one among them. 

MMA Guru Blasts the Dagestani Fans

MMA Guru recently pointed out why he did not like the Dagestani fans. Speaking about their toxic traits, the analyst pointed out how the fans brutally launched an online attack on Jack Della Maddalena following his loss against Islam Makhachev. He stated that the fans dragging Della Maddalena’s wife into the matter was pretty much out of line. 

“I attack Umar because his fanbase are the WORST fanbase in the sport, and they deserve to know what it's like, because they were in JDM's wife's Instagram comments dropping gifs of Makhachev and sh-t and mocking her for JDM's loss. They can pile on Ilia Topuria, and Paddy Pimblett, and this guy and that guy,” said MMA Guru. 

He further added, “They're just galavanting around the sport, winning winning, winning, never being on the receiving end. They've got to know what it's like."

Following such a controversial statement, there are no reports about any reaction from the targeted fanbase yet. But this was not the only time MMA Guru sparked a controversy. 

Arman Tsarukyan Unimpressed with MMA Guru’s Fight Knowledge 

Earlier this year, the UFC analyst dropped his opinions about a potential fight between Ilia Topuria and Islam Makhachev. He stated that Topuria had a chance of defeating Makhachev at 155 but not at welterweight. 

Reacting to this assessment, Tsarukyan went off on MMA Guru and said, “Bro, you know nothing about MMA. Bro, why are you, like, working as an interview guy? You know s**t about MMA. Okay, 165… Islam is fighting at 170. He’s not a 155 fighter anymore. He has just boxing, that’s it.”

It does look like that MMA Guru likes to rile things up a little. Now, fans will be waiting to hear more such controversial takes from the analyst.
