Movsar Evloev Wants To Join Alexander Volkanovski’s Cooking Show After Their Fight

Movsar Evloev is already looking beyond his fight with Alexander Volkanovski, with the Russian revealing that he would like to join the former champion for his cooking show after their matchup.
On October 24, fans will get to see Movsar Evloev take on Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi. Evloev will bring his relentless wrestling and pressure, while Volkanovski will look to show why he’s considered one of the best featherweights ever. It’s a matchup that should make for a high-level fight.
Volkanovski has multiple times spoken in support of the Dagestani, even after Evloev was finishing everyone without getting a title shot. Finally the fight is happening, and the Australian is aiming to hand the Dagestani his first professional defeat. But the undefeated fighter has a funny request waiting on the other side of that fight.

The featherweight champion is also well known for his cooking videos and has featured multiple UFC stars on his show. Now Evloev says he wants to appear on Volkanovski's ‘Cooking with Volk’ after their fight, though he has no plans to actually do any of the cooking himself.
“My dream is that after we fight, I go visit him and we cook something together… Honestly, I’d rather just eat than cook with him,” the Dagestani said in an interview with Adam Zubayraev.
Fans might get to see a fun collaboration between the two outside the Octagon. But the upcoming fight carries a lot of weight for Volkanovski, as he is already 36 years old and fans have been vocal about their concerns over his age. ‘Volk’ recently opened up about his retirement as well.
Alexander Volkanovski Reveals What Could Force Him To Retire From MMA
Volkanovski has been pretty clear about what would push him toward retirement. ‘The Great’ said it all comes down to how much damage he is taking. If the body starts telling him it's too much, he will listen, but right now he still feels good after fights and has no plans of going anywhere.
“I said that in the last fight. I didn’t take too much damage, I looked great, and here we are. You’re going to see that I’m going to be driven, I’m going to train hard, and I’m going to do what I need to do every single time,” talking with Markbouris, the 37-year-old, said.
The good news for fans is that ‘The Great’ also made it clear he is still motivated to train hard and give everything he has every time he steps in the Octagon. After reclaiming his title and defending it once, he is now focused on getting past Evloev and continuing his reign.
