PFL takes the city of Brussels by storm this Saturday, with former UFC champion Benson Henderson returning from retirement to battle Patrick Habirora

PFL Brussels is set to feature the return of one of the greatest lightweight competitors of all time when former UFC champion Benson Henderson meets hometown hero Patrick Habirora in a welterweight main event. In the penultimate match of the night, French stalwart Taylor Lapilus clashes with English prospect Jake Hadley.

Competing off an on in the PFL from the time of his second professional fight to joining the promotion fully in 2025, Habirora has garnered a reputation for being among the hardest-hitting fighters on the roster. Holding a nearly 100 percent finishing rate, the Belgium native is easily one of the most dangerous athletes in the company to trade blows with.

Seemingly retiring from fighting back in 2023 after losing to lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov, Henderson had walked off into the sunset after recording a fantastic career spanning almost 20 years. Putting on the four-ounce gloves one more time, the previous UFC gold standard will step up to battle at 170-lb for the first time since 2020.

PFL Brussels Co-Main Event

Undefeated in two years, France’s Lapilus has put together a fantastic five-bout winning streak, which includes such stalwart names as Cody Stamann, Vince Morales, and Kasum Kasumov. Entering the smart cage with all the momentum in the world behind him, “Double Impact” is seeking to spoil Hadley’s first outing of 2026 in devastating fashion.

A veteran of seven UFC contests, Hadley has consistently battled the best the flyweight and bantamweight  divisions have to offer for much of his professional tenure. Looking to get back into the winner’s circle, “White Kong” is on the hunt for his first victory in the PFL since making his debut in the organization back in April of 2025.
