SFL 5 Results, News and Reactions

The Super Fight League held its 5th event this past Friday, 19th October 2012, in Mumbai, India. SFL 5, as it’s referred to, was a part of the ‘Friday Night Fight Nights’ initiative that was launched by the promotion earlier this month. SFL 4 marked the start of this concept, just over a week ago, on 12th October 2012.

SFL 5 was headlined by undefeated promotional veteran Lakhwinder Singh and SFL newcomer, Mohamed Abdel Hamid. Hamid, who was also making his MMA debut, had a night to forget when his opponent cinched in a Rear-Naked Choke submission which forced him to tap in just under a minute and a half of the 1st round. Lakhwinder Sing  has now amassed a total of 3 victories under the SFL banner.
