Tyron Woodley suffered broken foot in first round of Gastelum fight at UFC 183
Top UFC welterweight Tyron Woodley handed Kelvin Gastelum his first professional career loss this past Saturday. Although he didn’t stop the TUF winner with ultimate fashion like he often does, there may be reasoning behind that.
Woodley, not to make an excuse, announced via social media on Monday night that in the first-round of their co-main event at UFC 183 he broke his foot.

The No. 3 welterweight did not give a timetable for his return.
Woodley is currently riding a two-fight winning streak, including a first-round TKO over Dong Hyun Kim in the co-feature of UFC Fight Night 48 in August.
UFC 183 took place live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Jan. 31.
