A look at Ariane Lipski da Silva's MMA career, her touching Instagram post on retirement

Ariane Lipski da Silva has bagged several Muay Thai accolades in her combat sports career overall. A Brazilian fighter who also has Polish heritage, she holds the distinction of being the inaugural KSW women's flyweight champion.

The former Brazilian Muay Thai champion captured the KSW MMA title by submitting Diana Belbita in 2017. Da Silva notched a pair of successful title defenses, and she then moved to the UFC.

She amassed a 6-8 record inside the UFC's famed octagon, competing there from 2019 to 2025. Da Silva went 1-1 in the PFL after making her promotional debut earlier this year. Her overall MMA record currently stands at 18-12.

The veteran Brazilian fighter also made an Instagram post about her MMA farewell. It comprised the same pair of photos seen in her X post. In a detailed statement, she confirmed her mixed martial arts retirement -- noting that everything has a beginning, middle, and end.

The Curitiba-born fighter indicated that she's grateful for having competed in some of the world's top MMA organizations, seemingly making an allusion to her time in KSW, her lengthy UFC run, and her recent stint in the PFL as well.

The Muay Thai savant implied that she hopes she's played a role in contributing to the betterment of women's MMA and paving the path for the new generation -- besides also emphasizing the significance of honor and values.

A devout Christian, da Silva closed out her post, writing, "My prayer is that, in every step ahead, the Lord Jesus Christ will be glorified."
