Art of Eight Limbs in ONE Fight Night 31 Main Event
At the top of the bill later on this evening, you’ll see a flyweight Muay Thai contest between No. 3 contender Kongthoranee Sor Sommai and Nong-O Hama in a rematch. With no championship at stake in the ONE Fight Night 31 main event, this is a three-round fight at three minutes per round to close out the show.
The three-knockdown rule is in effect for this headlining affair. Should a fighter knock his opponent down three times in a round or four times in a match, that fighter is declared the winner by way of TKO.
Welterweight Grappling Gold in ONE Fight Night 31 Co-Main Event
Immediately beforehand, the co-main event of the evening sees the ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling Championship at stake. Current champion Tye Ruotolo puts his belt at risk when he squares off against challenger Dante Leon in a trilogy contest.
As with all grappling bouts in ONE, the co-main event tonight is a single 10-minute period, with the first contestant to lock in a submission winning the championship. Should there not be a submission recorded inside the 10 minutes, the champion will be the fighter who makes the most legitimate efforts at submitting his opponent.
