American Muay Thai gets another chance to shine in U.S. primetime on Friday, May 2. Carrying the banner in Bangkok, Thailand will be Sean Climaco as he meets Akif Guluzada in a flyweight contest. The exciting bout will be a fun addition to the ONE Fight Night 31 lineup on Prime Video.
Sean Climaco Turning Heads Before ONE Fight Night 31
Climaco made a splash in his debut in 2024 against Josue Cruz. The first-round knockout elevated the Smash Fighter and Woodenman Muay Thai representative. He returned at ONE Championship’s second U.S. event in a wild brawl with Johan Estupinan.
Although he came out on the losing end against the Colombian, Climaco got back in the win column against a familiar foe. At ONE Fight Night 28, the Californian settled the score with Diego Paez by a narrow split decision. Now he hopes to start building momentum in a stacked division in May during ONE Fight Night 31.
