Barring any kind of late adjustments to Saturday night's card, the event will feature 13 fights from the home venue of the NBA's Sacramento Kings.
UFC Sacramento Main Event: No. 6 Contender Anthony Hernandez vs. No. 11 Contender Gregory Rodrigues: "Fluffy" on Doorstep of Top 5 at 185
At the top of the bill on Saturday night, the middleweight ranks will take center stage for the battle between No. 6 contender Anthony Hernandez (15-3, 1 NC MMA, 9-3 UFC) and No. 11 Gregory Rodrigues (19-6 MMA, 10-3 UFC.) This main event is an advertised maximum of five rounds at five minutes per round.
Hernandez enters UFC Sacramento on Saturday night with a record of 4-1 in his last five fights. Back in February, he trekked to Houston for a contest versus Sean Strickland (31-7 MMA, 18-7 UFC,) a fight won by the latter via third-round knockout.
This is Hernandez' 20th pro fight and he's within shouting distance of putting himself in the picture for a potential bid at the UFC Middleweight Championship at a later date. Can he break into the top-5?
Gregory Rodrigues on Hot Streak Ahead of UFC Sacramento
Across the way, Gregory Rodrigues has a 4-1 record of his own coming into UFC Sacramento this weekend. He's won three in a row.
Last time out, Rodrigues scored a first-round knockout over Brunno Ferreira (15-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) with a straight right back on March 7 in UFC 326 from T-Mobile Arena. In so doing, Rodrigues pocketed a cash advance to the tune of $50,000 (USD)
While Anthony Hernandez is hunting for a place inside the top-5 at middleweight on Saturday, Rodrigues is on a roll as he looks to crack the top-10 at 185. Which man gets his hand raised in victory here?
UFC Sacramento Co-Main Event: No. 6 Contender Serghei Spivac vs. Vitor Petrino: Spivac Looks for Second Win of '26
Immediately beforehand, the co-main event sees action take place at heavyweight when No. 6 contender Serghei Spivac (18-6 MMA, 9-6 UFC) fights Vitor Petrino (14-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC.) This is a three-round attraction at five minutes per round.
Spivac makes the walk in the co-main event on the strength of a 2-3 record in his last five fights. Six months ago, he fought during UFC Houston, winning by way of unanimous decision over Ante Delija (26-8 MMA, 1-2 UFC) in a rebooking of a postponed contest from Feb. 1 during UFC 325 in Sydney, Australia.
Much like Anthony Hernandez in the middleweight division in the UFC Sacramento main event, Serghei Spivac is knocking on the door of the top-5 at 265. An explosive win gets him there.
Vitor Petrino Eager to Get Number Next to His Name
Meanwhile, Vitor Petrino enters Saturday's co-headliner with a 3-2 record in his last five appearances in the UFC. At the moment, he's won three fights in succession.
On March 14, Petrino trekked to Meta Apex to take on Steven Asplund (8-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC), scoring the victory by way of unanimous decision. Saturday's co-main attraction in UFC Sacramento is Vitor Petrino's highest-profile outing to date in the promotion.
Only time will tell if he wakes up on Monday morning with a ranking.
UFC Sacramento: Reinier de Ridder vs. Roman Dolidze: RDR Makes Switch to 205 in Wake of Losing Streak
Also on the UFC Sacramento main card, light heavyweights go to battle when Reinier de Ridder (21-4 MMA, 4-2 UFC) clashes with Roman Dolidze (15-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC.) RDR will competing at light heavyweight for the first time in his UFC tenure on Saturday night.
He owns a record of 3-2 in his last five outings, but he's dropped two bouts in succession. In March, he was on the wrong end of a unanimous decision versus Caio Borralho (18-2, 1 NC MMA, 8-1 UFC.)
Reinier de Ridder has a history of fighting at light heavyweight. While he competed in ONE Championship, RDR staked claim to the ONE Middleweight and Light Heavyweight MMA Championships concurrently.
In ONE, middleweights compete at a championship weight of 205 lbs, with light heavyweights fighting at 225 lbs. How will he fare in his first outing at 205 in the UFC?
Roman Dolidze Also on Losing Streak Ahead of UFC Sacramento
In the other corner, Roman Dolidze has a 3-2 mark of his own in his past five appearances. Like de Ridder, Dolidze also comes in on a two-bout losing skid.
On March 21, he fought on UFC London, dropping a unanimous decision to Christian Leroy Duncan (15-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) after 15 minutes of action. At the core, this fight is the story of two competitors going in the same direction.
One question remains: Which fighter is the one who rights the ship?
