PFL To Crown the Inaugural PFL Women's Flyweight World Champion

The PFL have booked Liz Carmouche vs Jenna Bishop 2 for the inaugural women's flyweight world title.
Liz Carmouche vs Jenna Bishop 2 is official, as per a PFL press release. On the line will be the inaugural PFL Women's Flyweight world title. The event will go down in Chicago's Wintrust Arena on October 16th.

PFL Chicago Features Pioneer Liz Carmouche & Jenna Bishop
One part of the first-ever women's fight in the UFC, Liz Carmouche is a true pioneer of women's MMA. She's a two-time title challenger in the UFC and moved to Bellator, where she was equally as dominant.
She went 7-0 under the Bellator banner with six finishes. Under the PFL banner, she's been equally as dominant. She's gone 6-1, including a knockout of Bishop in August of last year in the 2025 PFL women's flyweight tournament.
Bishop is 14-3 and has only lost to the elite of the PFL in Taila Santos, Dakota Ditcheva and Carmouche.
Since the loss to Carmouche last year, Bishop has gone 2-0 with wins over Borena Tsertsvadze and Ariane Lipski da Silva.
PFL CEO, John Martin has said, "The inaugural PFL Women's Flyweight World Championship is another milestone for our organization and a testament to the incredible talent competing across our roster. Liz Carmouche and Jena Bishop have already proven they're among the very best in the world, and there's no better stage than Chicago to crown the first champion in this division.”
The Shadow of Dakota Ditcheva
It's hard to get excited about any PFL flyweight fight that doesn't feature Dakota Ditcheva, especially as she has a dominant victory over one half of the inaugural PFL Women's Flyweight world title fight, Jenna Bishop.

Ditcheva is currently out injured after breaking both hands in her most recent outing; however, the fight that everyone wants to see is Ditcheva vs Carmouche. It won't be the next fight for either woman, however, expect Ditcheva to be cageside.
