Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will be making his bantamweight debut on Saturday night and we will have UFC on ESPN 15 results all night. As Edgar steps into his third weight class, he will be facing off against fifth ranked Pedro Munhoz.

In his last five fights, Munhoz has put together a record of 3-2. After having a four fight win streak snapped in 2018 by losing to John Dodson, Munhoz would win three straight from 2018-19. Following the loss to Dodson, Munhoz faced off against Brett Johns at UFC 227. He rebounded from the loss as he defeated Johns by unanimous decision that night. In his next outing, Munhoz took on Bryan Caraway at the TUF 28 Finale. He finished Caraway that night, defeating him in the first round by TKO. He won his third straight fight in his next outing, finishing former champion Cody Garbrandt by knockout. In his most recent outing, Munhoz faced Aljamain Sterling at UFC 238. Edgar will be making his bantamweight debut coming off a record of 2-3 in his last five. Edgar has not won a fight since 2018 when he defeated Cub Swanson by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 128. His other win during that five fight span came in 2017 when he finished Yair Rodriguez at UFC 211. In between his two wins, he lost by knockout in a short notice fight against Brian Ortega at UFC 222. Edgar has lost his last two straight fights since he picked up the win over Swanson. His first loss was in a featherweight championship fight against Max Holloway at UFC 240. Holloway defeated Edgar that night, winning the fight by unanimous decision. In his last fight, Edgar was finished by TKO against Chan Sung Jung in the main event on UFC Fight Night 165.

Kicking off the main card will be a welterweight fight between Daniel Rodriguez and Dwight Grant.  Rodriguez is currently on an eight fight win streak with a recent win over Gabriel Green by unanimous decision. As for Grant, he has won his last two straight, with his most recent win being a unanimous decision over Alan Jouban.
