The first title fight is now official for BFL 67. Ali Wasuk will square off against Serhiy Sidey for the Battlefield Fight League bantamweight championship.
Ali Wasuk and Serhiy Sidey Battle for BFL Gold
Wasuk (4-1) has gone on a four-fight winning streak since losing his professional debut. In his most recent outing, the Tristar Vancouver product earned a second-round submission victory over Craig Maclean at BFL 66.
Sidey (4-1) started off his career on a four-fight winning streak, with three of those coming via knockout. In his most recent fight, Sidey lost a decision to Mateo Vogel at BTC 9 in February 2020. This will be the first time Sidey ventures out west for a fight.
Other match-ups announced for BFL 67 alongside Ali Wasuk vs. Serhiy Sidey are Gio Platon vs. Matt Hovorka, Nicolas Ouellet vs. Kevin Bastien Popowick, Jonathan Broad vs. Dylan Schellenberg, Taylor Christopher vs. Abderrahmare Haddad, Bryce Gougeon vs. Stuart Deleurme are Josh Kwiatkowski vs. Lucas Neufeld, Maria Demers vs. Jackie Maclean, as well as Ivan Hryshchuk vs. Gordon Cunningham and Keanan Kellar vs. Bobby Poulter.
The stacked BFL 67 fight card will air live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass on June 5.
