GLORY COLLISION 4, on October 8, will feature the trilogy bout between Badr Hari and Alistair Overeem. The two met previously in kickboxing in 2008 and 2009, fighting in K-1 and Dynamite. The series is tied 1-1 with each having won one knockout. GLORY Kickboxing will host the trilogy fight for these two fighters at the GLORY COLLISION 4 event scheduled for October 8, at the GelreDome in Arnhem, Netherlands.

Badr Hari made his professional kickboxing debut in 2002 and has held world titles in K-1 and Itās Showtime. He has had two very exciting fights against the GLORY Heavyweight World champion Rico Verhoeven. Hari competed earlier this year against Polish fighter Arkadiusz Wrzosek, in a fight that ended in a crowd riot. Commenting on this during the press conference, Hari said, āThat was bad for kickboxing, Iāve never seen anything like it.ā
āIām really coming to wreck. Iām going to take him to hell and Iām ready to die in that ring,ā Badr Hari said of his upcoming fight against Overeem, āMy last fight with Alistair was legendary.ā
Alistair Overeem has seen tremendous success in his combat sports career having held titles in K-1 Kickboxing, Strikeforce, DREAM, and others. He competed in the UFCās heavyweight division and will be making his turn to kickboxing on October 8th.
āI expect the best Badr, after all itās all or nothing for Badr,ā Overeem said during the press conference, āBadr was not the first coice. I would go against Rico Verhoeven⦠Badr won both his fights against Rico in my opinion. That shows heās dangerous.ā
