Josh Hokit aims trash talk at Alex Pereira in continued pursuit of fight: "Alex and me for the BMF belt"
Josh Hokit isn't letting go of his one-sided feud with Alex Pereira, who he is now determined to face for the BMF title.
Josh Hokit is refusing to give Alex Pereira any breathing room when it comes to his trash talk. 'The Incredible Hok' not only called out the former double champion for a potential fight, but also took the opportunity to mock him for his second-round TKO loss to Ciryl Gane at UFC Freedom 250.

In a recent post made on X, Josh Hokit outlined his goals in the UFC heavyweight division. He is determined to fight for the undisputed title, but understands that Tom Aspinall will likely defend his belt against current interim champion Ciryl Gane, with whom the Englishman has unfinished business. If the UFC opts to book Aspinall vs. Gane, then Hokit claims he'll settle for a title eliminator between him and Alex Pereira for the BMF belt.

Of course, in classic Hokit fashion, he couldn't help but follow that post up with some trash talk, as he later stumbled upon a clip shared by polarizing MMA influencer Nina-Marie Daniele. The clip featured 'Poatan' singing to her in Portuguese, prompting her to share the clip on X and ask if anyone could translate. Naturally, Hokit had his own thoughts, and mocked Pereira for his loss to Gane at UFC Freedom 250, his complaints about Herb Dean's officiating, and his past struggles with alcohol.

Hokit has been chasing a bout with Pereira for some time now, but 'Poatan' has shown minimal interest in the fight. Instead, he is more focused on avenging his loss to Gane.
